Standing tall and putting your shoulders back sounds like great advice but for anyone who has tried to maintain this will agree with Dani Almeyda that it is “awkward and not natural”. This article discusses the problems with this approach and instead Dani tells her own story of how she gained perfect posture as a result of training rocking and crawling.  These drills develop the strength and curves in the spine that result in great posture when you then stand upright. Posture is a natural reflex that can be relearnt.
